I have been dancing since 2002 and immersed in Chicago Steppin' since 2010. What began as a passion for movement evolved into a deep respect for the culture, structure, and elegance of Chicago Steppin'.

From the moment I first experienced the smooth glide and controlled connection of the dance, I recognized that Chicago Steppin' was more than rhythm and patterns -- it was communication, presence, and intentional partnership.

​

Over the years, I have competed and won multiple competitions, earning recognition for his timing, lead precision, musical control, and smooth delivery. My competitive experience sharpened my technical foundation -- but it was teaching that shaped my purpose.

​

For several years, I have given back to the Steppin' community by mentoring and teaching dancers at all levels. I have worked with complete beginners' takin their first step onto the floor and developing social dancers seeking refinement and confidence. My focus is not just on teaching steps, but on building dancers from the ground up.

My teaching philosophy blends:

    - Musical awareness and timing

    - Intentional leading and following

    - Partner connection and trust

    - Personal confidence development

I believe every man should learn how to lead with calm clarity and presence. Every woman should feel secure, respected, and graceful in partnership. And every dancer should understand the culture behind the movement.

 

​My classes are structured, progressive, and detail oriented. Breaking down fundamentals, reinforces repetition, and develops flow so students don't just memorize patterns -- they understand the mechanics and the "why" behind the movement.

Beyond trophies and titles, my greatest reward is transformation -- watching someone who once felt unsure become confident, smooth, and comfortable on the dance floor.
